Job Title	Technical Author
Job Description	Principal Technical Author for product implementation documentation within Customers for Life.
Key Responsibilities	Key accountabilities and decision ownership: • Take responsibility for the design and maintenance of the implementation documentation, consisting of overview of product functionality, key inputs required from customers, and implementation steps • Create and maintain style guides for capturing of content supplied by subject matter experts • Work with wider team of subject matter experts and content owners to ensure that knowledge is clear and accessible Skills, know-how and experience: Must have: • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical author in the technology sector • First class communication skills in English, both spoken and written • Familiarity with the requirements of a multi-national audience • An inquisitive mind set and a desire to learn • Hands-on experience with a content management system, ideally Madcap Flare Preferred: • Experience of Knowledge Management framework Technical / professional qualifications: • Degree-level qualification, ideally related to Technical Writing Key performance indicators: • Complete assigned support tasks to agreed level of quality • Provide accurate feedback suitable for customers • Ensure adherence to best practice and processes. Influence, collaborate and co-ordinate with: • Implementation Consultants and other product SMEs • Authoring team in Engineering • Other content owners including Learning Services,
